PAR, 100% Saskatchewan owned, was founded in 1976. It is the first private company of its kind to offer personal and professional counseling services to employees of other organizations.

Our specialty is the provision of high-quality counselling, training, and consulting services to individuals and workplaces. Our staff of committed professionals brings a wide range of knowledge, expertise, and experience to meet the diverse and specialized needs of your people.

PAR has a lengthy and positive track record working with management and unions providing EFAP service to employees and their families throughout the province. We understand the culture, beliefs, attitudes and values of the people of Saskatchewan. All of our staff is longtime, Saskatchewan residents. Most staff members are multigenerational Saskatchewanians. We have worked hand-in-hand with management and unions to solve workplace problems, conflict in the workplace, and job performance problems while respecting confidentiality and voluntarism.

We pride ourselves in our mobility, flexibility, and adaptability to program needs and requirements. Along with our Regina office, we utilize associate counselors in Regina, throughout the province and outside the province in Edmonton, Red Deer, Calgary, Winnipeg, and Vancouver. Our counselors travel on a regular basis. Wherever possible, travel costs are shared with other organizations.

We believe that Employee and Family Assistance Programs have two main goals:
1. To provide the best quality services for employees and their family members within a realistic and available budget.
2. To provide a program that assists your organization to be a healthy, successful workplace.
We believe that confidentiality and voluntarism are the cornerstones of EFAP.

Our toll-free telephones are answered by “live” people 24 hours-a day, 7 days-a-week. There are two counselors on call for emergencies. Emergencies and crisis are handled immediately.

PAR’s varied experience allows us to identify essential ingredients of EFAP’s to suit your special program needs. We can work with you to provide an effective EFAP.
